The basics of HTML lesson is built not to intimidate or confuse the student. The goal is to understand what markup language is and how it is used. When it comes to HTML there are many tags that are available but not that many that are used so we focus on the main tags. We also show the student how to use the web browser to manipulate HTML (and CSS) as a powerful learning tool. The goal of this lesson is to get the student used to hand coding and being able to modify pre-existing HTML code.
